Junior Youth Fellowship

Welcome to the official site of the TAFPC junior youth group. Our junior youth consists of fifth through eighth graders coming from all over central New Jersey.

Every Sunday at 1 pm, our junior youth service begins with a joint worship session with the senior youth in the Fellowship Hall. After praise they break off into their own separate service following the David Cook curriculum. After service and a brief period to socialize and snack, the junior youth have their own program. On alternating weeks, starting at 2:30 pm, the world renown conductor, Victor Shen, leads them through different genres of music. On the other weeks, the parents lead Bible Study.

On the 2^nd Saturday of each month TAFPC holds Full House Fellowship. We start with a potluck dinner at 6:30 pm and at 7:30 pm Erik Weibe, our youth director, leads the group through an activity. Most recently they worked on survival kits to send to the tsunami victims of South Asia.

Throughout the year, our junior youth participate in many activities including a lock-in, skiing and camping trips. They also compete in interchurch events such as the annual softball and ping-pong tournaments.

The 2006 Junior Youth Locked-in Party pictures have been compiled and ready for your view. This year the Junior Youth had their locked-in party at Mr. & Mrs. Chen's residence. Thanks to their hospitality, every one had a wonderful time playing, watching movie together, and most of all children and parents had an opportunity to plan their activities for the coming year.

Congratulations to our junior youths who won the NY Metro Taiwanese Churches Ping-Pong Tournament Junior Youth group championship. The team members include: Kevin, Mathew, Patrick, Mercedes, Michael, Justin, and Vincent.
