Senior Youth Fellowship |
|
The English Ministry Committee recently drafted a statement that summarizes our goals for the year 2005. "The purpose of the English Ministry is to create an open forum that will allow young men and women to come together in the presence of God. In 2005, our focus will continue to be centered on worship, bible study, and fellowship. We also plan to reach out to the surrounding community through various activities. Through these activities, we will be developing the future leaders of the church as well as celebrating the maturity and leadership of current leaders. Together, we will take this year as an opportunity to nurture each other's faith, spirit, and life." Senior Youth Fellowship
consists of high school and college students, as well as young
professionals. We are committed to gathering together to worship God and
learn from God's Word to us, the Bible, and God's incarnate Word to us,
Jesus Christ. To that end, we meet every Sunday afternoon at 1:00 for
praise, worship, and teaching. Our worship team does a phenomenal job as
they lead our English Service congregation in music worship and praise. Following the worship service, there is a time of fellowship with the entire congregation. After this, the Senior Youth hold a Bible study from 2:30 to 3:30. It is a dynamic setting where we learn from one another and from God as we look into God's Word. There are several
activities to get involved in with the TAFPC Senior Youth Fellowship. Once a
month, usually the fourth Saturday, we gather for Saturday Night Fellowship
to share with one another our lives and our testimony to Jesus Christ. Once
a month, a smaller group also participates in serving a local soup kitchen,
Elijah's Promise. This event is held on the fourth Friday of each month.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday afternoons for worship, and hope to welcome your involvement in the life of our community. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Samson Tso at samson@tafpc.org |
