John 8:31-33

Jesus said: “if you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” What does "hold" means and "free from what"? Do you have such “free” moments in your life — liberated by Jesus’ teaching and God’s words? Please share your experience?

John 9:13-25

The blind man healed by Jesus testified to the Pharisees about Jesus' work. Not only was he no longer blind, but he no longer begged either. His neighbor almost cannot recognized him(v.9). Today we testify to the non-believers about our faith.  Could you share what the elements are about a powerful testimony?

John 11:17-27, 38-44

 Martha revealed her faith when seeing Jesus come for Lazarus who had been dead for four days. Martha claimed Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming into the world (v. 27). However, right before Jesus resurrected Lazarus, Martha questioned the possibility (v. 39). Please share your opinions about how faithful Martha was and reflect on your own performances in trial/being tested.

John 12:42-43

While the author was rightly disgusted with the lack of courage and integrity by those Jews, we need to ask ourselves how often have we failed to stand up for Jesus when popularity or acceptance to others is more important than following Jesus' teaching. Do we truly love praise from God more than praise from men?

John 14:5-7

What does it mean to have “Jesus as the way and the truth and the life”?
