The verses of group A and those of group B convey contrary point of views about life. Group A advises that we should rely on God who determines all things. Group B suggests that we should do planning in managing our own lives wisely. The former sounds like the Presbyterian theology of predetermination. The latter appears to be more like Methodist's thought that human beings need to work in God's grace. Is it possible to reconcile the difference?

A, B兩處經文講出倒併的人生觀。A勸勉人要倚靠掌管萬物的上帝﹔B 說人生活要家己好好計劃。A聽起來親像長老教會神學的預定論﹔ B看起來卡像衛理公會信徒認為上帝的恩典需要人的打拼來成就。敢有法度化解此兩個相抵的講法
