Question 1:

Question 2: Psalm 73

This Psalm expresses the most naked yet true human experience of suffering under injustice; especially those afflicted by human wickedness and abused Power.

For a moment, it seems that fairness or faithfulness does not pay and then why we should remain faithful to our God?  But at the end, he realize that, says this psalmist, "that God satisfies. If I possess him, I can weather all gales, I can breast all tempests. If I have him, I have enough for time and for eternity." "Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee." (Psalm. 73:25).

How about those who perished or survived under Nazi camp, on 228 or in Rwanda: Were they able to utter 26:" My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." ?

Will I be able to uphold my faith like this author, if God wills me to undergo such tribulation?

Do we know in our hearts that there is One infinitely near, who is ready
to grip our hands in our desperate hours?
Do we believe that he abides the same through all the changing years?

Question 3: Psalm 77

I cry aloud to God,
  aloud to God, that he may hear me.
In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord;
  in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying;
  my soul refuses to be comforted.
I think of God, and I moan;
  I meditate, and my spirit faints.
Thou dost hold my eyelids closing;
  I am so troubled that I cannot speak. (Psalms 77:1-4 RSV)

We went through a similar experience, which many of us have had, or will have at some time or another in living the life of faith.  It happened often in times of really serious emotional problem and distress. Thus this psalm rings a bell with many. Have you ever felt like this?  Please share your thought.
